Tickets are on sale for Wolves Women’s showpiece fixture at Molineux, as Huddersfield Town visit in the FA Women’s National League on Sunday 2nd April.

Wolves season ticket holders and members can gain free entry into the game and will need to book a ticket online using their supporter number. Tickets for non-season ticket holders are priced at £4 adults, £3 for OAPs and £1 for under-17s.
More than 2,000 supporters turned out to watch Dan McNamara’s side lift the Northern Premier Division trophy and were able to celebrate a historic season against Brighouse Town the last time they stepped out onto the Molineux turf.
The fixture marked the first time in 20 years since a Wolves Women game at Molineux, but supporters will only have to wait until Sunday 2nd April (2pm) to see the next, as the old gold host the Terriers.
Academy manager for operations, Laura Nicholls, has explained how the fixture provides the ideal opportunity to showcase the club’s thriving women’s first-team to the wider supporter base, while offering the players the best possible exposure throughout their time representing Wolves.
“It’s really important to continue to build on the experiences and exposure that we can give to the players and ensure the fans have the opportunity to engage,” Nicholls said.
“A Molineux fixture is the best opportunity for us to do that. It gives us the chance to hopefully gain a wider fanbase and give them their first experience of a Wolves Women fixture. It also gives the players the opportunity to play at the main stadium which is something we’re keen to replicate year-on-year.
“Whatever we do in the women’s game, it’s about not doing anything as a one-off and it’s important for us to cement a fixture earlier than we managed to last season. Last April, we had already secured the league and it was more of a celebration, whereas this is a game we want to win and it’s a competitive league fixture with lots to play for in the league.
“This is an excellent opportunity and hopefully all the fans who came to the West Ham game can come to Molineux alongside new fans, before returning to the New Bucks Head for a really important run-in towards the end of the season.”
Head of women and girls football, Jenna Burke-Martin, hopes the game can be the highest attended Wolves Women fixture this season and said: “To host a game at Molineux this season is a fantastic experience for the players, staff and fans. It’s a great opportunity for the club to showcase the women’s programme within the stadium.
“It takes a lot of people across all departments of the club to pull this event together and is something that we are all looking forward to. We would like to make this our highest attended match this season and would love to see our regular supporters and hopefully a few new ones join us and see Wolves Women play.”
