Wolves’ first meeting of the 2023/24 Premier League season with West Midlands rivals Aston Villa has been moved to a new date and kick-off time.
The two teams were set to go head-to-head at Molineux on Saturday 7th October but due to the visitors being involved in European competition on the preceding Thursday evening, the game has been moved back 23 hours.
Gary O’Neil’s side will now face Villa at Molineux on Sunday 8th October in a 2pm kick-off. Despite the move to Sunday, the game will not be broadcast live in the UK.
Wolves’ other fixtures that month will remain as previously announced, meaning October’s full schedule is as follows:
- Wolves vs Aston Villa | 08/10/2023 | 2pm
- AFC Bournemouth vs Wolves | 21/10/2023 | 3pm
- Wolves vs Newcastle United | 28/10/2023 | 5.30pm | Sky Sports
