After scooping the award in September, the Portuguese has continued his impressive debut season in English football since and gained plaudits from far and wide last month.
In his five December matches, Sa conceded just two goals, only one coming from open play, meaning he kept three clean sheets against Burnley, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea.
In that draw over the title challengers, he was particularly impressive, producing a stunning save to deny Christian Pulisic and earn his side a point.

That form has seen him voted Wolves’ star performer for Wolves last month, ahead of Romain Saiss and Ruben Neves.
