Preview | Nottingham Forest vs Wolves

Unbeaten on the road this season, Wolves make the short trip to Nottingham Forest knowing victory would keep them amongst the early pace-setters in the Championship.

Tuesday night’s draw with Bristol City, a six-goal thriller which had everything, meant Nuno Espirito Santo’s men took four points from six available during back-to-back home games. Three points off the summit at this early stage, Wolves travel to the City Ground with an in form Diogo Jota, who has two goals in as many matches, and he could be key once again for Nuno’s men.

The Opposition

Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a strong start to the new campaign themselves and sit two points behind Wolves in 8th. Daryl Murphy earned Mark Warburton’s side three points at Sunderland on Tuesday night which saw them bounce back well from last weekend’s defeat at Sheffield Wednesday. Their only reverse on home soil so far was against Leeds United, with victories coming against Millwall and Middlesbrough at the City Ground.
