Clinical finishing pleases Doherty

Matt Doherty was delighted after Wolves continued their recent clinical form in front of goal in Tuesday evening's 3-0 win over West Ham United at Molineux.

Doherty returned to the Premier League starting line-up as three second-half goals saw Wolves record their most convincing win of the season. The three goals - one for Romain Saiss and two for Raul Jimenez - made it seven in two home fixtures for Nuno Espirito Santo's team, following their dramatic 4-3 victory over Leicester.

On clinical finishing

"We took our chances in the second half and played really well tonight. Tonight was one of those games where everybody played well and everything came off - we look even better when it's like that. It also obviously helps when you start putting the ball in the net regularly - it makes things a lot easier."

On the performances

"We beat Leicester in the last minute then got a last minute goal against Shrewsbury, so confidence isn't low. We just went out there with a gameplan and played really well. As part of the defence you're always looking to keep a clean sheet - when you do that, the majority of times you're going to win the game. The more clean sheets we get, the more points we'll win. We've put ourselves in a good position to have a great end to the season, and to finish as high as we can. Everyone is pretty confident going into Everton on Saturday."

On collision with Lukas Fabianski

"The ball came across the box and we both just went for it. When you're involved in one of those, there's always a bit of relief when you see him get up. I spoke to him after the game and he's absolutely fine."
