Jack Price is the latest Old Gold Club inductee

Academy graduate Jack Price will be the latest former Wolves face to be inducted into the Old Gold Club as he appears on the club’s podcast this week.

The midfielder, who joined Wolves' youth set-up as a nine-year-old, will be the ninth inductee to be interviewed about his time at Molineux by regular hosts Mikey Burrows and Chris Iwelumo.

A key member in the record-breaking Wolves side which picked up the League One trophy in 2013/14, Price will talk about the title winning season during a half hour Facebook and YouTube video, before an extended podcast is released on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Joining the likes of Kenny Hibbitt, Ally Robertson and Karl Henry as inductees into Old Gold Club, sponsored by Wolverhampton Building Supplies, the 25-year-old will also discuss his 17-year affiliation in Old Gold.

After coming through Wolves Academy, Price signed a professional contract in 2011 and was promoted to a first team regular by Kenny Jackett at the start of the club's only season in the third tier of English football for 30 years.

During his seven-year professional career at Wolves, Price made more than 110 appearances in gold and black, scoring two goals.

Price moved to the MLS in January 2018 to join Colorado Rapids, notching up 31 appearances and one goal in his first season in America.

The latest Old Gold Club will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube from 6pm this evening, while the full podcast will be available on all the regular channels afterwards.

The first eight episodes of the podcast with Hibbitt, Robertson, Henry, Carl Ikeme, Tony Daley, Terry Connor, Scott Golbourne, Karl Henry and David Kelly are also available to listen back to by clicking here.
