Don Goodman to be inducted into Old Gold Club

Former Wolves striker and Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman will be the twelfth inductee into the Old Gold Club.

The goal scorer, who made more than 125 appearances in gold and black, is the latest former star to sit in the hot seat as he joins Mikey Burrows and Chris Iwelumo on the next edition of the club’s popular new podcast.

Goodman will speak about his time at the club during a half hour Facebook and YouTube video this evening, before the extended podcast is released on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Joining the likes of Kenny Hibbitt, David Kelly and Matt Murray as inductees into Old Gold Club, sponsored by Wolverhampton Building Supplies, the 52-year-old will also discuss his four-year affiliation with Wolves.

Now a regular at Molineux due to his role as a Sky Sports pundit and commentator, Goodman first arrived at the club in 1994 from Sunderland, scoring 33 times before a move to Japanese outfit Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The latest Old Gold Club will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube from 6pm this evening, while the full podcast will be available on all the regular channels afterwards.

The first 11 episodes of the podcast with Carl Ikeme, Kenny Hibbitt, Tony Daley, Terry Connor, Scott Golbourne, Karl Henry, David Kelly, Ally Robertson, Jack Price, Matt Jarvis and Matt Murray are also available to listen back to by clicking here.
