FPL MD7 | Neto earning big points

FPL returns this weekend, with managers needing to submit their teams by 11am on Saturday, and wolves.co.uk provides transfer options ahead of the deadline.

Last time out…

Wolves | Pedro Neto | £5.6

Pedro Neto continued his fine FPL form with a first goal of the season, which saw him share top scoring responsibilities with Luton Town’s Carlton Morris last weekend. The wide man scooped nine points – five for his goal, two for appearance and two for bonus – which comfortably makes hm Wolves’ top point earner for the season on 34. He’s owned by 3.5% of managers.

Luton | Carlton Morris | £5.5

Morris’ converted penalty in the same match saw him also claim nine points last Saturday, four for his goal as a striker, and three bonus points. The Luton striker is on 26 points for the season, having also scored against Brighton & Hove Albion and assisted against West Ham United. The Hatters have a double game week ahead of him, facing Everton at Goodison Park and Burnley at home.

This week…

Wolves | Hee Chan Hwang | £5.4m

Last time at Molineux Hee Chan Hwang scored against Liverpool and he was also on target in the Carabao Cup in midweek. Of course, no FPL points were earned that night, but he’s still scooped 20 for the season, after other goals against Brighton and Crystal Palace. The South Korea is priced at £5.4m and is owned by just 0.3% of managers.

Man City | Erling Haaland | £14.1m

Last season’s FPL winner Erling Haaland has, unsurprisingly, started the new campaign in scintillating form, scooping 51 points. The Norwegian has scored eight goals and assisted one, scoring against Nottingham Forest last time out, and claimed maximum bonus points on two occasions. Costing a hefty £14.1m, but it doesn’t put FPL managers off, with 92.4% selection rate.
