Wolves and Ticketmaster Sport have entered into a new partnership, which will improve the ticketing service provided to Old Gold supporters, both online and in person.
The partnership will see Wolves become one of nine Premier League clubs across the 2023/24 season to benefit from Ticketmaster’s digital technology to improve fan experience, with the likes of Brentford and Crystal Palace joining long-term clients including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The change will see Ticketmaster replace SeatGeek in providing Wolves with the software to sell all forms of tickets, exclusively to Wolves supporters, while both eticketing.co.uk/wolves and the Wolves Ticket Office will continue to be managed by full-time Wolves staff.
Wolves can make use of Ticketmaster’s market-leading technologies, which will see supporters benefit from a 3D Virtual Venue version of Molineux, enabling fans to digitally preview every seat from the comfort of their phones before making their final purchase.
Supporters will also enjoy an improved, slick user experience when purchasing tickets, with a simplified journey to sale, particularly for fans renewing season tickets or placing match tickets on the resale list.
The launch took place on Monday 3rd July, ahead of a month of staggered ticket purchasing windows – a process which is expected to be seamless for Wolves supporters.
Wolves general manager for commercial operations Vinny Clark said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Ticketmaster, a globally established industry leader, from the summer of 2023.
“As always, when reviewing our commercial partnerships, fan experience is at the very top of our agenda and we want our ticketing checkout journey to be hassle-free and straightforward. We believe Ticketmaster are the best in class in this field and we’re certain our fans will see the benefit from this when buying tickets in the future.”
Chris Gratton, managing director for Ticketmaster Sport, said: “Ticketmaster is committed to delivering the best technology and the best support for both the club and its fans. We are delighted to be working with Wolves and seeing them continue to perform to their best, on and off the field.”
