Dan McNamara’s side are back on the road this weekend and go head-to-head with a Clarets side who have a 100% record.
Burnley’s main stadium, Turf Moor, is the venue as the Old Gold look for a response following last weekend’s defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Prior to Sunday’s game, Wolves boasted a perfect record of their own in the league following victories against Stourbridge and Derby County.
Burnley have swept aside Hull City, Stourbridge and Stoke City in their opening three games, scoring 15 goals in the process – only leaders Rugby Borough have scored more.
Wolves welcome skipper Anna Morphet back into the fold on Sunday, after the defender served a one-match suspension last weekend, however Abi Loydon misses out with a suspension of her own – she picked up a red card in the League Cup defeat to Stoke City.
In this fixture last season, the two sides were made to settle for a share of the spoils following a 1-1 draw and Morphet’s sublime free-kick.
