Women's preview | Stourbridge vs Wolves

Wolves Women go head-to-head with Stourbridge Women in a local derby on Wednesday night.

After securing a second successive victory at Huddersfield Town on Sunday, Dan McNamara’s side turn their attention to the second encounter of a three-game week.

Stourbridge stand in the way of a potential third win on the bounce, however the Old Gold have already beaten the Glassgirls twice in league and cup this season.

Wolves secured the bragging rights back in September with a 3-0 victory at the New Bucks Head, before hitting eight in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in November.

After winning Division One Midlands last season, Mike Harris and his side are on track to remain in tier three having accumulated 15 points from 18 games.

They currently sit in 10th place and seven points above the bottom two heading into their final four fixtures of the season.

However, Stourbridge come into Wednesday’s game without a win in six and were beaten by four goals to nil against Burnley on Sunday.
