Wolves Women fixtures postponed

Due to the new Covid-19 restrictions announced by the Government, the FA has confirmed women’s football in tiers three to seven will be suspended between 5th November and 2nd December.

This suspension means all fixtures and training for Wolves Women, as well as Wolves’ FA Girls Regional Talent Club, will not be permitted to continue until the beginning of next month.

Therefore, the women’s upcoming matches against Long Eaton United on Sunday 8th November, Boldmere St Michaels on Sunday 22nd November and Doncaster Rovers Belles on Sunday 29th November have been postponed. The suspension of tiers three to seven could also affect the first-team’s fixtures in December, with further details to be announced in due course.

We will bring you more information on wolves.co.uk and @WolvesWomen on Twitter as and when future updates are confirmed.
