Under-23’s tie with Leicester set for live WolvesTV coverage

Wolves under-23’s Premier League 2 match with Leicester City will be broadcast live worldwide on WolvesTV and the Wolves App from New Bucks Head this Friday evening.

Rob Edwards’ side clinched their first win of the season away at Blackburn Rovers last week and will return to Telford for the 7pm kick-off on Friday 30th August for their second home game of the campaign following the 0-0 draw against Everton in their opening match.

Live coverage of the Leicester fixture, as well as every home match of the under-23’s 2019/20 Division 1 campaign will be available free to supporters around the world on WolvesTV and the Wolves App.

On Friday, commentator Mikey Burrows will be joined by former Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme ahead of kick-off with all the build-up to the match, before live coverage of the game itself.

The live match stream can be found here, while supporters can also catch the action on the Wolves App – download it now on iOS here and on Android here.

Now with the WolvesTV cameras at every home fixture, Wolves fans can cast their eyes over the next generation of talent coming through the Academy ranks as they compete at the elite level of youth football in England – PL2 Division 1.

After facing Leicester this Friday, the under-23s invite Arsenal to New Bucks Head, while last season’s Division 2 rivals Southampton will follow, before six more league fixtures lead into the final home game of the season and the visit of Manchester City on Friday 17th April.

As well as the addition of the live stream, admission to New Bucks Head for under-23 matches this season has been reduced from 2018/19, with Wolves season ticket holders and members being offered free entry to all games.

Under-23 admission prices for 2019/20 are as follows:

  • Wolves season ticket holders | Free
  • Wolves members | Free
  • Adults | £3
  • Children | £1
