Donovan Wilson and Nouha Dicko were on the scoresheet as Wolves made it three wins PL2 wins from five games, moving them up to third in the league table.
Rovers fell to defeat in their last outing away at Swansea City, losing 2-1 to the league-leaders.
Dicko is again involved in tonight's Wolves squad as he continues to build up match fitness follow a long period on the sidelines.
