Following last week’s International Cup exit at Crystal Palace, James Collins’ side host the Magpies at Aggborough.
Full focus for the remainder of the season is on the PL2 campaign, where Wolves are currently placed in eighth position – the top 16 teams qualify for a single elimination play-off.
Meanwhile, Newcastle sit in second bottom having accumulated nine points from their 11 games so far this season.
Prior to defeat at Palace, the Old Gold were unbeaten in four matches in all competitions and enjoyed derby night success against West Bromwich Albion.
