Second placed Wolves under-23s will not have the chance to close the gap on Premier League 2 Division 2 league leaders Leeds United after the top of the table clash was postponed.
Due to the heavy snowfall which has dropped across much of the country this weekend, the development side's latest league match, which was due to kick-off at 1pm this afternoon at St George's Park, has been called off.
This announcement follows Wolves under-18's match with Burnley on Saturday which had to be suspended due to the adverse weather.
Play was halted at Lilleshall after just 23 minutes with the game tied up at 0-0, but despite efforts to clear the pitch, the match was unable to resume.
The rearranged fixture dates and kick-off times will be published on wolves.co.uk as and when they are confirmed.
