Under-23 preview | Sunderland vs Wolves

Wolves under-23s will be full of confidence heading to the north east this afternoon when they take on Sunderland at the Academy of Light.

James Collins’ men bounced back from narrow successive defeats with a terrific performance against Fulham on Monday afternoon, with the development side putting three without replay past the Cottagers, with Oskar Buur, Pascal Estrada and Meritan Shabani all getting of the mark for the season.

Their opposition are coming into the game off the back of a pair of good victories of their own last week, having taken down Aston Villa by two goals to nil at Bodymoor Heath, as well as securing a 5-3 win over Fulham.

With the game to be played behind closed doors, supporters can still catch all the action live from Sunderland on Wolves TV.

The match will be streamed online from 1pm, with Mikey Burrows providing full match commentary and available to watch on wolves.co.uk, the Wolves App or the Wolves YouTube channel.
