U23s return to Molineux for more European action

Wolves under-23s will return to Molineux in the new year after their vital European clash with Liverpool was rearranged.

The development side were due to be facing the Reds in the Premier League International Cup at Telford’s New Bucks Head on Sunday 22nd December, but the game will now take place at Molineux from 7pm on Wednesday 29th January.

The team’s second game of the International Cup also ended in a 1-1 draw, this time against Athletic Club Bilbao at St George’s Park.

Ticket information for the tie against Liverpool will be announced in due course.

Another of the under-23’s fixtures which has been rearranged is the Premier League Cup home tie against Leeds United. Originally scheduled to be played on Monday 2nd December, the game will now take place on Friday 24th January at New Bucks Head.
