After being the first team to claim victory over Manchester United in the league this season at Molineux last Friday night, Rob Edwards’ side will be full of confidence.
But the under-23s face a tricky task tonight as they face off against Stoke, who are on a three match winning run, scoring 12 goals in the process.

WHAT THE BOSS THINKS
On Stoke
We’ve got some really tough games coming up. Stoke will be a tough one away from home and we expect another difficult game, but we’re looking forward to the challenge and hopefully our performance against United will give us a lot of confidence.
On Benny Ashley-Seal
He’s now got eight goals in the league and he’s looking a real handful. He’s been so important to us and his goals have been valuable. His discipline without the ball has been excellent, because at times he doesn’t get into the games as much, but he does such a good job for the team.
On being top
Don’t think we’re not aware, we look at it and the lads are all talking about it. Being top of the league is nice and we’re there on merit, but there is a long way to go. We’re approaching the half-way mark as there’s only 22 league games in the Premier League 2 season and the lads have done great so far.
