Herc Excited By New Deal

Christian Herc says he is excited to extend his stay as Wolves for a further two and a half years.

The Slovakian youth international put pen to paper on a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2020 with the option of a further year.

The 19 year old has been a regular in Scott Sellars’ Under 23 side so far this season and has scored one goal away at Blackburn Rovers.

Delighted to have secured a new deal, Herc is now hoping to play as many game as he can and improve his all-round game.

He said, “I’m really happy now that everything is done, I’m so excited to extend my stay here.

“Usually it takes some time to sort all of the parts of the process but I’m just so glad now that it’s all done and I can concentrate on my football.

“The last 18 months have been really good for me but I just want to continue with the hard work that I’ve done so far.

“I’m hoping that this season will be way better than the last.

“After being here for a while now, I feel that I have added more confidence to my game but apart from that I feel I’m still a similar player to when I arrived.

“I’ve learnt more English from the staff and the players here - I’m enjoying every single day and I have enjoyed every day since I signed for Wolves.

“The most important thing for me now is to play and ultimately my aim is to be playing first team football.

“But as I say, for now my aim is to play as much football as possible and keep learning along the way - I will be working hard to achieve that.”

Wolves Under 23s next fixture is at AFC Telford’s New Bucks Head against Norwich City on Monday 6th November (7pm) in the Premier League Cup.
