Wolves supporters can choose who wins the first Castore Player of the Month award for the 2023/24 season, as voting for the August prize is now open.
In previous season, the nominations for the player of the month award have been narrowed down to a select group, but for the August 2023 award, fans can choose any player who has represented the first-team during the month.
That means there are 23 players to pick from, following Wolves’ Premier League matches against Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton, as well as the Carabao Cup second round drubbing of Blackpool at Molineux.
Some of the highlights of the month has been an impressive showing at Old Trafford – despite the result – in Gary O’Neil’s first game in charge of the side and a last-gasp goal from Sasa Kalajdzic which saw Wolves snatch all three points at Goodison Park last weekend.
There was also a professional display in the cup on Tuesday night which saw the Austrian striker add to his tally for the year and Fabio Silva net his first goal in Old Gold for two years, before Matt Doherty’s netted a brace on his second debut, youngster Nathan Fraser came off the bench to claim a goal and an assist, while Pablo Sarabia played a big hand in all of the goals.
