Wolves carried through their form from December into the new year with four victories from their four outings to kick off 2022 in the best possible way, including passage into the Emirates FA Cup fourth round.
During the month, Lage’s side also claimed a historic three points at Old Trafford – the club’s first win against Manchester United away from home since 1980 – while seeing off Southampton at Molineux and a win on the road in west London against Brentford.
This is the first time Lage has been nominated for the Premier League’s top managerial award since he moved to the Black Country during the summer.
The Wolves head coach is up against Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), and Dean Smith (Norwich City).
