On his first open play goal from inside the penalty area
“It was my job. I always try to do my best and today, fortunately, I scored the goal, but it doesn’t matter because we didn’t take any points from the game, so we’re really disappointed with the result.
“We did enough to get out of here with another result, at least a draw, but they scored a second one in the only chance they had in the second-half.
“We’re sad, but let’s improve, and I will try to score more goals, because that’s what’s making the difference at the moment.”
On coming close with a free-kick late on
“We were unlucky. The ball just skimmed the crossbar, but like I said before, it’s football, it’s about learning and improving.
“We’ve been saying that since the beginning but that’s the truth, we need to see the game today, we need to see our mistakes and improve from that.”
On injuries taking their toll
“As a squad we have a lot of quality, a lot of young boys with a lot of quality, so we always have solutions to replace the injured players.
“Of course, we miss them as well, they are more experienced and they help us a lot, but for the young boys it’s all about gaining that experience for the future and improving.”
