The duo came off the bench against Crystal Palace on Friday evening and, having impressed in training since, are set to be involved in the Premier League squad to face Everton on Tuesday. Nuno has a lot of respect for Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti and expects a tough contest at Molineux, and the head coach will once again be without his number 10 for the contest.
On welcoming Everton
“It’s a very tough match. Everton is a very good squad, a fantastic manager, so it’s going to be very tough. Going back to Molineux is always good for us, and we want to compete well. We want to keep improving and having a good game.”
On Podence’s injury
“He didn’t join the group. He’s still recovering, doing well, but not available for this game.”
On Gibbs-White and Cutrone
“They are options. They’ve worked well. What we have to be aware is that Morgan is returning from injury, Patrick didn’t have much time in a game situation.
“He’s training well, most of them are working very well, and it’s up to us to decide where they go. They go in the squad and we see after.”

On Cutrone settling back in
“I’m happy because he can become a good option in the situation we are. We’re supportive of the moment he is, in terms of fitness, in terms of games and positive that he’s here to help us.
“This is one of the questions that we measured, players that already know our routines. Everybody in the squad received them well, so it’s a positive.”
On respect for Ancelotti
“I have a big admiration for Carlo. I know him personally, and I admire and respect him a lot. Of course, he’s done well. He’s a fantastic manager and with very good players in his squad. The conditions are good and that’s why we expect a very tough match because we’re going to face a very good opponent.”
On possible January additions
“We already made the decision of recalling Patrick [Cutrone] and Morgan [Gibbs-White], we still have time, the transfer window is open, and we have to be ready for what can happen.
“Ins and outs, as long as the transfer window is open, we have to be ready to react if that’s the case and be ready to rebalance if you consider that you still need more options.”
On a lack of business elsewhere
“With Brexit, the protocols have changed when you start looking at options that can be available for you. There’s a lot of uncertainty in the future of everybody.
“We have to be very careful on the decisions that we make, this is what we decided, to recall players we already knew, give some time, and see how we can move forward.”
