The 20-year-old, who is the first player born in the 2000s to be named in the Portugal national team squad, will be available to make his debut in his country’s friendly against Andorra before the Nations League fixtures with France and Croatia.
Neto joins four Wolves teammates, Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho, in the Portuguese squad for those three matches which will take place between 11th and 17th November.

His senior call-up follows his progression through the Portuguese youth age groups, having represented country at each level, and comes just a month after scoring two goals for Portugal under-21s in their 4-1 victory over Norway in early October.
Elsewhere, captain Conor Coady retains his place in the England national team following impressive performances for both club and country during the last month.
Having helped Wolves to three clean sheets in four, as well as scoring and wearing the captain’s armband in England’s victory against Wales, Coady was among the 13 defenders named by Gareth Southgate in the squad for the upcoming internationals.
