The Seagulls have impressed under Graham Potter this season and won at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday. However, Wolves themselves are in good form, with the results of both teams this season displaying the quality of the Premier League in general.
On Brighton’s new approach
“Every team, the moment they change the manager, naturally the idea changes. You can see a difference in Brighton now, I will not say it’s more offensive or defensive, it’s a different idea.
“We’re going to keep on watching it (the Arsenal game). Not only the game of Thursday, all the games that we can extract something that is useful.
“It shows how hard the Premier League is. It reflects the quality of every team. The table doesn’t mean anything.
“The quality of the squads is so good, the players, the managers, so anybody can beat anybody, it’s obvious and clear. We have to be really focused.”
On Saiss returning
“He didn’t play the last game at home to Sheffield. It’s not a question of beneficial, it’s something that happens (suspensions). We had to find a solution, to replace him. Max did it. We decided that against West Ham it was Romain.
“We have to decide who is going to play against Brighton. The important thing is when you balance the squad.
“Even if the player is not involved, he has to train, the idea is to have everybody at the same level physically, technically and tactically. If a player cannot be involved, he has to train, it’s not that he’s going home, he prepares for what happens next.”
On Bennett’s fitness
“He was involved on the bench. He’s getting better, recovering his top form. He worked today and we’ll decide, but it’s no good to have players out, everybody has to be inside the squad.”
