Wolves are unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions and sit 12 points clear at the top of the Championship.
Bennett has revealed that every player is believing in themselves heading into games, he puts that down to winning games.
Bennett began, "With the results obviously comes belief, I’ve been in times at other clubs where we’ve had good runs before but you sort of have a lull again, I think here it’s instilled from the top, that’s the difference I think, we talk and have meetings and the way things are done to make us believe in what we’re doing and how we do it, that’s what everyone has bought in to.
"There’s 25 players here who all buy in to the same way of playing and that’s why it’s so successful.
"The club has a plan of where it wants to be and they know what they need to do to get there and part of that is the demands of every day and working like we have since pre season.
"The staff and the players have all bought in to that, we know how hard we have to work because teams are going to want to take as many points as they can off us and its up to us to go out and get what we need.
"Winning breeds confidence but we know we’ve achieved nothing yet.
"They’re things we talk about a lot, confidence can go two ways you either relax or it can spur you on to even better things, we need to look at the latter.
"The meetings and the preparation we have will ensure we take the confidence and put it into the good things instead of relaxing and it turning the other way."
The 27 year old signed for Wolves in the summer on a free transfer as his contract at Norwich City expired.
He began the out of the side however after getting a chance to get back into the side, he has featured in every game of Wolves' unbeaten streak since the end of October.
Bennett admits he could understand why he wasn't in the team at the start of the season but also knew that his chance was never far away.
"I knew in the summer what the plans were and obviously it was early on when I came. You could see the plans of what kind of season we wanted it to be and fortunately it’s turned out to be that," he said.
"It’s understandable with a new manager coming in and a lot of new players, the team was settled and doing well so that’s just the way it is, you get through those times, get your chance and take it so hopefully I can stay in the team now.
"You know there's still players waiting in the wings and if you drop your level theres someone else who can come in and that’s what you need as a team."
Wolves face Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday, a team they beat late on at Molineux earlier in the season.
Bennett knows that Saturday's opposition will be up for the game as he says that the teams at the top are there to be targeted.
"Plenty of us have played for teams against the bigger clubs and the teams doing well, we know the feeling you get before those games, it’s sort of a free game for them really.
Bennet said, "they’ll be up for it because if they can take points off us it’s a big statement for them as well but we’ve been used to that the last couple of weeks.
"We’ve got our plans and the way we do things and we’ll be sticking to that from now until the end of the season and hopefully that will be enough.
"When you’re at the top everyone’s trying to shoot you down, people want to see you fail when you’re at the top but I think we’ve answered a lot of those questions, especially the lads who have come in, they’ve adapted really well to the way this league is, we just need to keep it going to push us over the line.
"There’s no way that people are going to relax here, I think people can see that from afar.
"The demands that are on us every day is whats going to keep us going, and the way we do things is not going to change.
"Everyones seen what we do, we’ll keep that going and it should be enough."
