After 12 games, Wolves have won eight of their opening games, leaving them with 26 points so far.
Wolves host fifth-placed Preston North End on Saturday (3pm) at Molineux.
The 26 year old defender says that the team’s only focus remains on Saturday’s game with Preston.
He said, “It’s much better being at the top instead of the bottom but our focus is to try not to get here and relax, it’s to get here and consolidate this position now.
“The focus for the next game is high and we will try our best to win the next game.
“Everybody in my neighbourhood, when we won the last game, was very happy and came to us with a big smile.
“Of course this is very important to us as well to give this to the people, to make their dream come true.
“We always try to do our best to give to the fans because the fans have been incredible with us.
“We are still only at the beginning but we know that there is a lot of Championship left yet!
“We can’t relax because every game is tough - next game is a very tough game and we know that we will have to be at our best to support our position and win.
“Normally when teams are in the first or second position, teams look at you in a different way.
“We will continue to play in the same way that we started in the first game - the mentality is the same and we are excited for Saturday to show everybody that we deserve to be in the first position and that is the place that we want to stay.
“Every match has pressure because in every match, every team wants to win - we are getting used to that but the big games are naturally what every player wants to play in.
“Last week was a big game, Saturday will be a big game - everybody wants to play and everybody wants to enjoy it.”
Miranda believes that Wolves have improved following every game whether they win, lose or draw.
He also says that the improvements are not only coming on the pitch as he reveals that team spirit is something that they are working on each week.
“From the first game, we are improving all of the time - even when we lost or drew, I think we improved in some way,” Miranda said.
“We are improving defensively, we are improving also with the ball, and going forward as well - in each game we will know each other better and that is the key.
“We try, in the changing room, to make fun of each other and to know each other so that we can create a feeling like a family.
“We feel that is very important because we spend a lot of time here and so we have to know each other, we have to respect each other and we have to love each other.
“We also have to protect each other on the pitch because if someone fails in something then another player has to be there and the same if I fail.
