It has been announced that Head Coach Paul Lambert and first team coach Stuart Taylor are to leave the club after six months in their roles following a football review which took place at the end of the season.
Also leaving will be Head of Sport Science Tony Daley, and first team coach Rob Edwards.
As part of the coaching restructure the club are currently in discussions with Pat Mountain about the possibility of him helping develop the club’s younger goalkeepers in a role within the Academy.
Daley, who spent four years as a player at Wolves from 1994-98, has spent almost a decade as part of the backroom staff, arriving at the club in September, 2007.
He has headed up the fitness and conditioning programme during that time and spearheaded the club’s development in Sport Science.
Mountain, one of the youngest coaches ever to achieve UEFA’s outfield and goalkeeping coaching ‘A’ licences, arrived at Wolves in August, 2008, the start of the club’s Championship winning season.
During his nine years he worked with an array of top goalkeepers including Academy graduates Matt Murray, Wayne Hennessey and Carl Ikeme, and the club are exploring the possibility of him staying on to work with the Academy.
Edwards, who rattled up over a century of appearances as a Wolves player from 2004-08, returned to the club for a successful season as Academy Under-18s coach in 2014/15.
That secured a promotion to the first team coaching staff for the last two seasons, and included being interim Head Coach for two games in between the tenures of Lambert and Walter Zenga.
“Although everyone at the club will be looking forward this week with the arrival of a new Head Coach and backroom team, we should also pay tribute to those who are leaving after giving many years of loyal service to Wolves,” said Sporting Director Kevin Thelwell.
“Paul and Stuart have shown great commitment and professionalism during their spell at Wolves and Tony, Pat and Rob the same for many years in their respective roles at the club.
“Tony and Pat in particular were a part of the senior staff which secured promotion to the Premier League back in 2008/09 – and then stayed in the top flight for three seasons.
“The fact that they have remained at the club through so many ups and downs, and worked with several different managers and head coaches, is testament to their ability and the regard with which they are held.
“In Pat’s case, we are currently in discussions about him taking up a goalkeeper coaching role within the Academy, but however those talks develop, his contribution within the first team set-up – as with Tony - should rightly be commended.
“Rob’s role with the Academy proved key in helping develop some of the young players who have since gone on to grace the first team, deservedly securing his own promotion, and he showed a great professionalism and approach when taking temporary charge of the first team last season.
“We remain very appreciative of the work carried out by all those staff who are leaving the club, and wish them every success in their future careers.”

Wolves have thanked long-serving members of the backroom staff who are leaving Molineux as a result of a coaching shake-up following the end of the season.
