I’m Proud Of The Lads
Paul Lambert says he is proud of his players as his side beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at Molineux.

In a tense game, Nouha Dicko scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute to secure all three points and takes Wolves’ run to five consecutive wins.
Lambert admits that it was a tough task for his players and says they deserve a lot of credit for the current run of form.
“It’s a fantastic run, it really is - it’s a great winning habit and I’m proud of the lads for coming through the game tonight because it was a real tough game,” Lambert began.
“They've got a new manager, they play a different way and our energy levels probably weren't what they have been - but that’s understandable because we’ve put so much effort in the games we've played.
“Big complements to the team, they deserve a lot of credit.
“One thing I know is that we’re playing really well, we’re winning games.
“I don't know the last time that this club won five on the spin at this level. 2008? That’s a hell of a long time.
“I’ve just been told that the Cardiff game was the first time that we’ve won back to back home games in 13 months - which is shocking for a club this size.
“We’re doing great things but we still need to do a lot more to get up this league.”
Nouha Dicko wasn't on the team sheet to start - an injury to Helder Costa in the warm-up meant that Dicko was call upon minutes before kick-off.
Lambert says that as a goal threat, Dicko is one of the best around.
He said, “It shouldn't be difficult for a substitute to be told he’s starting because he’s a professional footballer.
“I made the decision that he would replace Helder - I think in the last few weeks, he's been looking lively and his goal was excellent, it was a striker’s goal - six yards out.
“I’m delighted for him, he’s had a hard time being out with injury and as I’ve said before, Nouha Dicko needs a real hard pre-season in him to get him really fit. As a goal threat, he’s up there with the best.
“Andy (Lonergan) made a great save at the end as well - he’s probably one of the best shot-stoppers I’ve seen during my time in football.
“I don't think that they should have got that far forward towards the end - we should have buried the game at the end when Jon (Dadi Bodvarsson) goes through and maybe could have passed it to Andi (Weimann).
“During the first half, we were slow - I though we needed a bit more tempo in our game and losing Helder (Costa) before the game was a blow but we played really well in the second half.”
Seconds before the Wolves goal, Forest had an effort cleared off the the line by Conor Coady.
Lambert was full of praise for the Wolves right-back but says that his team never should have been in that position in the first place.
He described it as, “Mayhem!”
“On our behalf, we should have never been in that position in the first place.
“Their attack was a counter attack, we left ourselves too open, Cavaleiro does well to get back, Andy makes the save and then Conor (Coady) makes a brilliant effort to get it off the line.
“Then we go up the other end and score - it just shows you how quick we can break.
“He’s been brilliant - he’s a great kid, great attitude to the game and he’s been consistent - really, really consistent.
“The way Conor’s playing, he’s justifiably the right-back at the moment.
“The injury to Helder was bizarre because he trained yesterday with no problems.
“Went out this morning - no problem.
“He’s done the warm-up and all-of-a-sudden he felt his ankle, we’ll have to wait and see tomorrow, hopefully it will only be one day and he will be fine.”
