Wolfie visits the sights of Nanjing | Gallery

In preparation for Wolves' first-ever trip to China for the Premier League Asia Trophy next month, Wolfie paid a visit to Nanjing see the sights which await Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Our beloved mascot toured various landmarks around Nanjing - one of the two cities Wolves will play in during July - alongside his counterparts from Manchester City (Moonchester and Moonbeam), Newcastle United (Monty Magpie) and West Ham United (Bubbles the Bear).

While on his whistle-stop tour of the city, Wolfie visited Nanjing Beijing East Beijing Road Primary School where he took part in a football competition with the children, followed by a painted boat cruise on Qinhuai River and a visit to Confucius Temple where he posed for photos with the Asia Trophy.

Wolfie and his fellow mascots then posed for selfies outside Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, which will host Wolves' semi-final clash with Newcastle on Wednesday 17th July from 6pm local time (11am BST) before Nuno's team play in Shanghai on Saturday 20th.

Detailed information regarding the Premier League Asia Trophy, including requirements for entering China, travelling between Shanghai and Nanjing, match details and tickets can be found at the Wolves Help portal.
