Wolves Disability sign off for Christmas in style

The Foundation’s disability participants enjoyed some festive football in their final session before Christmas.

Wolves Disability FC, sponsored by Energy Angels, were treated to some Christmas-themed games and music during 2021’s final session at the Foundation Arena.

Club mascot Wolfie was also in attendance to say hello to some of the younger age groups.

Some players were surprised with a Christmas present from the Foundation, containing new Wolves training kit, as a thank you for their continued hard work and commitment to the team.

Not only that, but the presents themselves were wrapped by some of Wolves’ first-team stars including Conor Coady and Joao Moutinho.

Inclusion lead Gavin Jones, said: “It’s been a tough year for a lot of our participants and but it’s been great to see them back playing regular fixtures in their brand new Energy Angels kits.

“We’re looking forward to what 2022 brings for our Disability teams.”

Greg Jackson, head of partnerships at Energy Angels, added: “We’re thrilled to be able to support the Wolves Foundation. Having been to watch the team train, it’s clear how much the Wolves Disability FC’s players love their time at Wolves and have a huge amount of pride pulling on the shirt.

“Everybody at Energy Angels would like to wish everyone at the Wolves Foundation and all the Wolves Disability FC players a safe and happy Christmas.”
