Well the Foundation were only able to help facilitate the recording thanks to 'a lot of help' from many 'friends' who stepped forward to ensure those involved in Head 4 Health were able to enjoy a proper musical experience to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.
Over to the Foundation’s health and wellbeing manager, Rachel Smith.
“It has been such an important and worthwhile project for our Head 4 Health participants, and we are all really proud of how they went out of their comfort zones to take part in the recording and the video,” says Rachel.
“But we were only able to work on the project thanks to some fantastic help and support from other organisations.
“The band Junomoon have been brilliant with their support and giving so much of their time and expertise, as well as RML Studios and the Newhampton Arts Centre.
“The Wolfpack Howlers are also great supporters of the Foundation and Liam, Roger and Steve also played a part in the recording.
“And a huge thank you to the Samaritans and all our Head 4 Health participants for taking part, and particularly Simon who was particularly engaged in the organisation of the project.
“We are always so fortunate at the Foundation to receive so much support from Wolves fans and the community in general and this is another example of everyone coming together with some fantastic results."
Head 4 Health is the project run by the Foundation to help men improve their health and wellbeing and continued to operate via virtual sessions during the pandemic and walk and talk activities when restrictions eased.
