It has obviously been a very different year for all of us, including here at the Foundation, and it has also been a very different Christmas.
With the restrictions from Covid-19, our normal festive schedule which would include plenty of face-to-face participation and visits out and about meeting people in the local community has, just like for so much of this year, not been able to function as it normally would.
However, just like during such a large part of 2020, we have strived to adapt and continue to support the community however we can, and Christmas has been no exception.
There have been food drop-offs, holiday hunger activities, our Christmas shoebox appeal providing presents to local children, online calls with players, and much, much more as the Foundation works with our participants and residents from Wolverhampton to try and help out at what is such a difficult time.
Over the coming days we are delighted to be able to bring you a flavour of what we have been doing this Christmas, and how we are continuing to work with the club to deliver our activities.
Our very own 12 Days of Christmas will look back on some of what has taken place over a busy few weeks, across a broad range of our projects and involving the most important people of all - our participants!
Pop back to wolves.co.uk tomorrow for the first instalment, and, in the meantime, enjoy your Boxing Day!
