As the official club charity reflects upon the successes of the Molineux Sleepout, the Foundation are pleased to announce that the event raised a grand total of £50,354.90.
Raised funds are being shared equally between the Good Shepherd and Wolves Foundation, with the aim to further support Wolves Foundation projects and improve facilities for those homeless and vulnerably living.
Fundraising and events executive, Demi Grundy, said: “We are truly grateful for all the support that we received before, during and after the event.
“I am unbelievably proud that we exceeded our target by £20,000 in our first ever sleepout, and already cannot wait for next year’s event.”
The event was such a success thanks to the fans, volunteers, local influencers and club staff, and all support and donations are hugely appreciated in the bid to continually tackle homelessness within Wolverhampton and the wider community.
Wolves Foundation are delighted to have collaborated with the Good Shepherd and are continuing to support the homeless charity by volunteering and launching Wolves Foundation Premier League Kicks trainer appeal between 27th December and 23rd January, in a bid to collect over 200 old or unwanted trainers, for more information follow @wwfcfoundation.
