The Black Country-based charity work with individuals, organisations and schools across the UK and are focused on tackling the stigma attached to mental ill health.
During their visit to the Molineux, the charity will have volunteers, along with mascot Kally the Kaleidosaurus in Wolfie’s Den before kick-off to promote awareness of their services, as well as encouraging individuals to take part in their Creating Brighter Futures Together project.
It also promises to be a very big occasion for Kally, who will be joining Wolfie and Wendy pitchside and, hopefully, her appearance will help make the stigma of mental ill health extinct!
In addition, The Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s new awareness film will be aired before kick-off, whilst at half-time, a short clip from their Ambassador and Wolves fans’ favourite, Matt Murray will be shown prior to an on-pitch interview with the charity CEO Monica Shafaq.
An excited Monica said: “It will be a really proud day for me and the charity to have such a huge presence at Molineux, particularly as I am a Wolves fan myself.
“It’s a fantastic gesture from the club to allow us into the stadium to promote positive health and wellbeing.”
Established in 1973, The Kaleidoscope Plus Group support more than 9,000 people a year through their network of provision including: counselling; suicide prevention and postvention services; independent living support; mental health training; residential care and wellbeing activities.
