Premier League opener to be shown live on Sky

Wolves’ 2020/21 Premier League opener at Sheffield United is set to be shown live on Sky Sports.

At a meeting of the Premier League shareholders on Tuesday afternoon, it was approved for all top-flight matches throughout September – which will be played behind closed doors – to be broadcast on live TV.

Wolves’ first match of the season will see Nuno Espirito Santo’s men travel to Bramall Lane, with the game now kicking off at an earlier time of 6pm on Monday 14th September, live on Sky Sports.

After originally announcing the game was to be broadcast on free-to-air channel Pick, a revised schedule has confirmed the match will instead be shown on Sky Sports.

Wolves’ first home game of the new season against Manchester City has been moved back 15 minutes and will now kick-off at 8.15pm on Monday 21st September, also live on Sky Sports.

A finalised date, kick-off time and channel for the away fixture against West Ham United, provisionally scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 26th September, will be announced in due course.
