Wolves face Stoke in Carabao Cup clash

Wolves have been drawn at home to Championship side Stoke City in the second round of the 2020/21 Carabao Cup.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will welcome the Potters to Molineux next week, between their first Premier League match of the season at Sheffield United and the home tie with Manchester City.

It will be the first time Wolves have faced Stoke since the FA Cup tie of 2017, in which Nuno’s side won 2-0 at the bet365 Stadium following goals from Helder Costa and Matt Doherty.

The date and kick-off time for the second round fixture will be confirmed in due course.

The draw for the third round of the competition also took place on Sunday afternoon, with the winner of the second round clash between Wolves and Stoke due to host Gillingham or Coventry City during the week commencing 21st September.
