Neto felt one point should have been three

Pedro Neto believes Wolves did enough to beat Leicester City and claim all three points on Friday night.

The Portuguese looked lively, having started against the Foxes, and sliced a presentable opportunity wide in the opening period. After that, VAR ruled out Willy Boly’s goal and Wolves were forced to settle for a point, leaving Neto with a hint of frustration come full-time.

On competing until the end

“It was a tough game. We know we competed against a hard team, but we worked hard.

“I thought, again, we were unfortunate about the goal that was disallowed.

“We tried again, we had chances, to kill the game, so I think we can do better.”

On VAR disappointment

“It’s difficult because it’s not the first time. We work hard, so to see these goals disallowed is a little bit difficult, but we continue.”

On battling with Leicester

“Two teams that work hard. We know Leicester this season are going well, they worked hard, it was a tough game, but I thought we could win.

“We work hard every week, every day, and are ready for the next game.”
