Vote | Traore on October’s PFA Player of the Month shortlist

Adama Traore has been nominated for the October PFA Player of the Month award after his two goals against Manchester City helped Wolves to a memorable win at the Etihad Stadium.

The speedster had the game of his Wolves career in Manchester when he latched on to two Raul Jimenez passes to beat the City defence and score twice in the final 10 minutes of the tie to secure the three points.

Traore – who has made the most successful dribbles in the league this month – has also proved to be a key member of the Wolves attack during their unbeaten Premier League run, with the side from Molineux going the entire month without losing a top-flight clash.

Playing at both right wing-back as well as part of the front three, Traore played a vital role in Wolves’ equalising goal against Newcastle United last weekend, as he formed a threatening partnership with Matt Doherty down the right at St James’ Park to allow Jonny to get his first goal of the season.

Traore is competing with Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Ricardo Pereira (Leicester City), Christian Pulisic (Chelsea), David Silva (Manchester City) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) to be named October’s PFA Bristol Street Motors Premier League Player of the Month.

Voting in now open here and supporters have until 8am on Monday 4th November to cast their votes.
