Traore wants more with Wolves

Adama Traore said his Wolves teammates want to improve on their performances, despite making a positive start to life in the Premier League.

Four wins and four draws from their 12 league matches so far this season leave Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sitting 11th in the table heading into the international break.

The rapid winger had the chance to add to his side's win total in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal but was denied by a man-of-the-match performance from Gunner’s keeper Bernd Leno.

“It was a good save, but I’m still working on these final details,” Traore said. “The team worked so hard. We deserved one more goal because we made many chances, but we will keep working hard and after the international break we will come back strong.

“The team gave a great performance, they worked so hard for the 90 minutes, but we need to finish our chances – we work on it.”

The 22-year-old, who has played a part in all but one Premier League match for Wolves this season, believes there is more to come from the team.

“It’s been a good start, but we need to keep going. We want more. I think everyone wants more and I think we can do better. We can do better in the final part of the pitch.

“We will keep working. We’re doing it already, so we will keep doing what we are doing, and we will get there.”
