Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will travel to Leicester City the following week, ahead of a mouth-watering fixture at home to Premier League champions Manchester City in game week three.
The 2018/19 season will conclude with a trip to Anfield on Sunday 12 May, where Wolves stunned Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup in January 2017.
The return fixture against Liverpool is on the weekend of 22 December, after which Wolves supporters will spend the festive season in London with a Boxing Day fixture at Fulham, and a trip to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium on the 29 of December.
Wolves bring in 2019 with a New Year’s Day fixture against Crystal Palace, with other notable dates in the calendar including a trip to Old Trafford on the weekend of 22 September, with the Red Devils visiting Molineux the weekend of 6 April.
Please remember, all fixtures are still subject to change, with live televised fixtures for the opening two months of the season yet to be confirmed.
With this in mind, supporters are urged to avoid making any travel or accommodation arrangements until the television picks are confirmed next month.
Any fixture changes will be announced on wolves.co.uk and across the club’s social media channels as soon as they are confirmed.
