The team return to Sky Bet Championship action after a 13-day international break and take on Boro in the first of their final eight league fixtures.
When asked how the team were faring heading into the Riverside clash, the Head Coach responded: “Everybody’s okay. We knew we had an international break with a few of our players leaving to train with their national teams and they all came through okay.
“Some of them have travelled long distances to play games but there are no big issues after the break.
“We are okay regarding the international players that went away. Diogo Jota will be absent tomorrow but we are ready to go.
“There has been a lot of change in both squads but we know that Middlesbrough have good momentum.
“They have four wins in their last four games at home, that tells us how difficult it’s going to be but we are ready. We are looking forward to playing again.
“It’s going to be a good game. Two good teams trying to play football.”
Nuno hailed the players that represented their national teams and believes that the call-ups have come as a result of the hard work being put in day in, day out at Compton Park.
He said: “First of all we must congratulate the players for what I believe is one of the highest achievements in professional football, representing your country.
“It is deserved because of the hard work they have been putting in since the start of the season. Playing good and working hard.
“They know and we know that everything comes because of the work that they do here.
“It’s a philosophy, it’s our identity. Everything is about the team, about the squad.
“Of course individual prizes like representing national teams is good but it’s all about the team.
“They share the joys but they also share the same moments in sadness, that’s living as a family.
“It’s good for the club to have international players but, again, we go back to what is our main focus, Wolves.”
Nuno’s men earned back-to-back victories going into the international break and the Head Coach believes that his side can take confidence from the positive results.
“What we did before the break can give us confidence,” explained the boss before adding: “But we have to prove ourselves again tomorrow in a tough match against a good team.
“It’s always the same, the way we play, the way we work and the way we prepare ourselves for the competition. It’s always the same.
“You have to improve what you do good and find new things. We can’t look behind, all we concentrate on is tomorrow.”
