Conor Coady says that Wolves are looking forward to Tuesday’s ‘massive’ Sky Bet Championship fixture against Reading at Molineux (7:45pm).
Wolves crashed to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
Coady admitted that he and his team mates were disappointed with the defeat but emphasised that Wolves will be looking to get back on track against Reading on Tuesday.
“It’s gutting, it’s disappointing, it’s a tough one to take to come to Villa Park,” Coady began.
“I fancied us to give a good account of ourselves and win the game and it’s not happened.
“It’s a bad feeling but we’ve got a game on Tuesday, we’ve got to look up, get ready for that and really go again.
“It’s getting to an important time of the year as everybody knows and we need to get back to winning ways, and quick.
“We’ve got to put it behind us and quick. We’re back in training, we work hard, we look at where we went wrong and put it right - it’s a simple as that.
“We’ve been good at doing that this season and it’s another part of the season now that’s going to test us. We’ve got a huge game on Tuesday - it’s massive.
“We need everybody to pull together including the supporters, the players and obviously the staff.
“We look forward to it and move forward.
Coady continued, “the good thing about this division, and I’ve said it plenty of times, it’s game after game and we’ve got to go into Tuesday now all guns blazing.
“We know what we’ve got to do, we know we’ve got to win the game - we know it’s all about winning games now.
“There’s ten games to go and it’s massive for this football club to not lose this position.”
“I actually thought we controlled the game in spells - they countered on us quite well to be honest, they obviously did their homework quite well and countered on us.
“I felt really comfortable first half and I thought maybe we should have made more of the chances we had going forward.
“The second goal is really disappointing from our point of view, it really knocked the wind out of us and then we’re chasing the game.
“They picked us off on the counter attack.
“We’ve got to look at that and get better quickly.
“Every game is huge up to now, the game at Villa was massive and it’s disappointing for the supporters - we’re as gutted as anyone to lose by that margin.
“It’s not good enough from our point of view and we need to improve quickly.
“We’ve got to put it right on Tuesday, that’s all we’ve got to do - go out and win the game and move on.”
