Jackett on Helan and Rowe

Kenny Jackett believes the on-loan Jeremy Helan has given Wolves balance since his arrival from Sheffield Wednesday and made a positive impact on the team.

Since the left-sided Frenchman swopped the Owls for Wolves, the team have won two, drawn two and lost one of their five games, three of which were against sides in the top six of the Sky Bet Championship.

Helan is due to stay at Wolves until the end of the season, but cannot figure on the final day when his parent club Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors to Molineux.

"Jeremy has helped us in terms of balance, he's a very athletic player,” said Jackett, who added that there have not been any discussions over any possibility of a permanent move.

"He gives up options in a wide left position and as an attacking left back, which at the right time we'll need as well.

"I've been pleased with him, he's been a good addition for us.

"Having all of a sudden, with George Saville and Kortney Hause there, three left-footers, I feel the side does look more balanced and distribution has improved because of it.

"At the moment there have been no discussions about Helan – it depends on our overall situation.

“There haven't been any discussions with Sheffield Wednesday but I have been pleased with what he's done."

Jackett meanwhile has said that no decision has yet been made on Tommy Rowe’s future, after the midfielder joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

“Tommy’s contract is up in the summer and we haven't spoken to him yet about the future” the Head Coach added.

"He's had a good amount of games this season, with his Scunthorpe loan.

"Between ourselves, Tommy and his agent we will sum up the situation at the end of the season
