With international football wrapped up for another season, attention returns to the Premier League and with that comes an FPL deadline.

No Wolves player earned more FPL last time out against Fulham than Rayan Ait-Nouri, who scored his first goal of the season. The Algerian scooped ten points in total, two of which were bonus points. Although, no FPL points were awarded for his goal and assist against Coventry City, they continued his form in front of goal. Depending on injuries at Villa Park, the 22-year-old may be employed further forward once again.

Alex Iwobi (£5.3m) | Goals: 5 | Assists: 1 | Next three: SHU (A), NFO (A), NEW (H)
Alex Iwobi’s late consolation at Molineux saw him top score for Fulham that afternoon. It was the midfielder’s fifth goal in the Premier League this term and he costs just £5.3m. The Cottagers have two fixtures rated two out of five on the difficulty scale coming up, with Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest. This has been his best season for goals, following spells with Arsenal and Everton.

Although he wasn’t awarded the goal against the Cottagers, Nelson Semedo was credited with an assist for his role in Wolves’ second goal. That added to his assist earlier in the season at Arsenal. The right-wing-back has been an ever-present this season and will expect to keep his shirt at Villa Park. Three of Wolves’ next four matches are rated two out of five on the difficulty scale.

Ollie Watkins has been the most successful FPL player on the entire game this season, having scooped 187 points. Selected in 55.9% of teams, the England international is ahead of Bukayo Saka in second and Mo Salah in third. Watkins has 31 goal involvements and, before two blanks, had five goals in three Villa matches and costs £9m.
