Today's goal of the day was a stunner from the boot of Dougie Freedman as he helped secure the first win for Wolves in five matches during the first-half of the 1997/98 season.
On loan from Crystal Palace at the time, but impressing enough in his opening games for Wolves to earn a permanent move to Molineux, Freedman set his new side on their way to a 3-1 win over Swindon Town when he fired an unstoppable first-time shot from 25-yards out into the top corner of the net after just 12 minutes.
However, that wasn't the end of the drama that afternoon, as three players were sent off after a pair of horror challenges by Swindon players, and Wolves' third was another outstanding long-range effort.
In honour of Freedman's first goal in gold and black, we're testing your knowledge of the starting 11, as well as the two substitutes, who featured for Wolves in that memorable game back on 18th October 1997. Take the latest Wolves Trivia quiz and let us know how you got on #WolvesTrivia.
