Relive the 2014/15 season with Wolves ReReviewed

Wolves ReReviewed is focusing on more recent history this week as the 2014/15 season is re-watched, relived and re-reviewed on the official Wolves YouTube channel and Facebook page.

After covering the 80s, 90s and noughties in previous episodes, commentator Mikey Burrows, The Athletic’s Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers and comedian Tom Parry are taking a leap into the 2010s as they look back at Wolves season review DVDs (and VHSs) from years gone by.

Powered by Energy Angels, the trio will give their unique insight on a season which saw Wolves return to the Championship after a year away in the third tier as Kenny Jackett’s side sweep the League One title with a record points tally.

Back in the Championship following subsequent relegations, Wolves were looking to make it back-to-back promotions, and after losing just twice in the opening 15 matches, the side were well among the play-off places.

Following a dip in form towards the end of 2014, the attacking duo of Nouha Dicko and Bakary Sako became a trio with the January signing of Benik Afobe, helping Wolves to an improved second-half of the campaign.

However, it wasn’t to be for Wolves, as goal difference was all that separated them from a chance in the play-offs.

The first part of Wolves ReReviewed episode seven will be shown on the official Wolves YouTube channel and Facebook page at 8pm on Thursday evening, before part two follows at 8pm on Friday.
