Today's goal of the day came secured Wolves their first ever League Cup title back in 1974 when John Richards scored a late winner at Wembley.
With five minutes to go in the final, Wolves and Manchester City were tied up at 1-1 before a cross was sent into the box and Richards was there to last home a right-footed effort beyond Keith MacRae which saw the old gold get their hands on the League Cup trophy for the first time.
