Today's goal of the day was high point in an otherwise disappointing season for Wolves as the Bill McGarry's men were relegated to the second division.
Following a decade in the top-flight, Wolves only won 10 matches in 1975/76, the first of those was against Birmingham City, as Willie Carr, who only joined at the back end of the previous campaign, scored a brace at Molineux.
